5 yr old blue spruce in 5 gallon potTHIS IS Agnarledpine! What started out to be a tree farm in the Creston Valley, ended up being a travelling potted tree show. These Colorado blue spruce, Austrian pine, and Scotts pine, have been in five gallon pots for ten years. They have been uprooted every year so that they send out new roots through the holes in the pots, and into the ground every year. They are kept in close quarters amongst themselves, and are irrigated almost daily, as needed. They are now, four and five feet tall, with a monster trunk on them. It would be interesting to try and Bonsai the pines, and if you were adventurous, the spruces could be worked. These trees would make excellent stock for a windrow or if you just need a large quantity of trees to fill an area inexpensivley.
